Konjugate is now available to try: the first cross-platform pre-release
August 08, 2026
A pre-release version, Konjugate v0.3.3, has been published about an hour ago. It can be downloaded from GitHub.
Pre-built packages are available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, so Konjugate can now be tried without building it from source. This is still an early pre-release; there is plenty left to build and improve. But it is an important milestone, as Konjugate is now in a form that others can download, run and experiment with.
A decent amount of time and effort went into getting it to this stage. As the engine is written in C++, native libraries need to be built for the best performance, and it took several iterations to get things working properly across all three platforms. Now that Konjugate can be tested outside the development environment, I look forward to getting more feedback and, more importantly, acting on it.
Follow Konjugate on LinkedIn for updates.
